"Morning Garden"

Forrest has been passionate about creating art his entire life and always knew he eventually would pursue this dream as his career. After completing his BFA and MA at Miami University of Ohio, he taught all genres of art at the high school level.

Now dedicated as a full-time artist, Forrest's style ranges from varying degrees of realism to abstraction. Relying on intuition and emotion, he uses rich color and texture to capture energy in his oil paintings.

A member of both the Hoosier Art Salon and Indiana Plein Art Painters' Association, he is provided opportunities to paint outdoors all over the state. While nature is one of Forrest's inspirations, he also creates works of other subject matter such as cityscapes and abstracts. He is also available on a commissioned basis for customized pieces of artwork for your home or business.

Forrest and his paintings and prints can be seen at his studio at the Stutz Building - a diverse community of over 60 artists in downtown Indianapolis.
